Congrats for being the most insecure web browser actually. *-*
The only thing that could make I use FF for something would be Echofon and DownThemAll extensions. But I don’t use it… I control myself to do not use it. :D

FF is open-source, hackers can simply view the source code to find security fails, or am I wrong?

    • In my mind: yes and no. While hackers can find security flaws, at the same time, community can also find and fix them. So it’s one of those debatable situations.

Having the most public fixed issues doesn’t equate to being insecure.
Having open issues, like how IE used to (and still does?) have open vulnerabilities for weeks is insecure.
Also, you might want to read the “Beware the Security Metric” post and its comments on the Mozilla Security blog.

All security through obscurity does is to give a false sense of security.
The largest security threat, as usual, is an uneducated user.

Just counting the number of vulns doesn’t tell you which browser is the most secure, duh.
