By | June 27, 2010

Firefox 3.6.6 ReleasedMozilla has recently released an update for Firefox 3.6 branch that increases plugin hang detector timeout.

Instead of terminating non responsive plugin after 10 seconds (which is way too low), it will now wait for a total of 45 seconds.

You may also increase or decrease value by modifying dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs attribute in Firefox config.

Download.

Thanks to beelzebub360 and Jeff Vann for the news tip.

This a superub feature for me. Particular, QuickTime takes longer time to load :( This would help me a lot.
