By | March 11, 2015

It’s time to do the desktop.

As Microsoft continues to work on Spartan, it’s predecessor is in a downtrend as last month Internet Explorer’s market share decreased again (by 0.8 point this time), down from 58.18% to 57.38%

The second most popular web browser (Google Chrome) will soon control one fourth of the market, up by 1.15 point, from 23.54% to 24.69%.

Third in the list is always falling Firefox and February was no exception, down from 11.90% to 11.60% (0.3 point decrease).

Fourth is Safari, which just went below the 5% mark, down from 5.03% to 4.84% (0.19 point decrease).

Lastly, Opera, which is not visible in this chart, up by 0.13 point, from 0.96% to 1.09%.

That’s all for now, folks.

Weird … why do they list Netscape at 0.27 & ignore Opera with 1.09%

my guess is Opera is not a US company.
