Download Google Chrome 22 BetaGood news for the Google Chrome and especially Windows 8 users as the latest beta version of the search giant’s web browser has some neat goodies in store.

According to the official blog post, Google Chrome 22 includes the Pointer Lock JavaScript API, which allows games and apps to hide the mouse cursor from the screen and read the mouse movement data. The result? You can now play first person shooters in your web browser.

In addition to that, the following version also includes some unspecified Windows 8 and high definition screen enhancements that are likely improve the overall browsing and OX experience.

    Correct me if I’m wrong, but one cursor: none do the trick with hiding the cursor? Cause I’ve been hiding the cursor that way for ages…

    In other news, where the heck’s the API support for download managers ? I think that’s a bit more inline with people’s browsing expentancies.
