Download Firefox 10 Beta
Less than 2 weeks after releasing the final version of Firefox 9, Mozilla has now pushed the very first beta of Firefox 10.
What can be expected in such a short time? As reported earlier by FavBrowser, Firefox 10 will automatically hide the forward button if it’s unnecessary; in addition to that, FF10 includes the Anti-Aliasing feature for WebGL and few web standards support.
Firefox 10 Beta Changelog
– The forward button is now hidden until you navigate back
– Anti-Aliasing for WebGL is now implemented
– Full Screen APIs allow you to build a web application that runs full screen
– CSS3 3D-Transforms are now supported
– New BDI element for bi-directional text isolation, along with supporting CSS properties
– Inspect tool with content highlighting, includes new CSS Style Inspector
– We’ve added IndexedDB APIs to more closely match the specification

I’ve asked it before in other places and I ask it here too:
When will forward button show up?
1) Hovering back button
2) Going back (pressing back button)
3) Something else…
If you are on a page & go back to a earlier version of the page then the forward button will show because it is now an option.
I imagine it only shows when you are on a tab that has a forward history switch to a tab that doesn’t & it will hide.
Firefox 12 FINALLY has a new tab page like what chrome has.
