December, 2013 Mobile Market Share: Android Browser, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer – Up; Safari, Opera Mini – Down

Another month, another report.

Starting with Safari, Apple’s web browser has some trouble maintaining previous quarters momentum and has since lost more market share, this time it has decreased by 0.79 point, from 55.61% to 54.82%.

Next in the list is Android Browser, which saw an increase of 0.21 point, from 25.22% to 25.43%.

Chrome finished 2013 strong and will soon cross the 10% mark, up from 8.33% to 9.70% (1.37 point increase).

Opera Mini on the other hand continues its downtrend, this time down by 0.66 point, from 4.81% to 4.15%.

Lastly, Internet Explorer, up by 0.02 point, from 1.56% to 1.58%.
