Chrome 2.0.172.37 Fixes 2 Security Vulnerabilities

The latest Google Chrome 2 release has fixed 2 security vulnerabilities. As H Online reports: “The first vulnerability could be used by an attacker to run arbitrary code within the Google Chrome sandbox.”

Furthermore, critical memory corruption vulnerability was also fixed which could have caused browser to crash and possibly allowing attacker to run arbitrary code with the privileges of the logged in user.

    google chrome will continue to suck the big one till the sort out all their bugs. They need to rethink their automatic update approach. Why couldn’t they have built the updater within chrome? Not come up with some crapware that runs outside the browser that is not only buggy, but once you uninstall chrome, leaves lots of pieces of itself all over your computer and registry. And for its size, it certainly seems like a whole lot of nothing. and I mean look at the sad little settings page from chrome and look at the nice big settings page from FF. Just puts a smile on my face :)

    For me it’s more interesting why Chrome is not installed in Program files where every normal app does…
