According to the latest test done by guys at 7source, there is a staggering difference between the best (IE11) and the worst (Opera 18) web browsers. In fact, on your Toshiba Encore 8″ tablet, you could surf the web for as long as 8:52 hours or as little as 6:11 hours, depending on your software of choice.

Opera Max Updated
Still not available worldwide.
If you are one of the lucky ones to be living in the US then good news, Opera Max, a data saving app for your Android phone, has been just updated.
While it doesn’t bring any groundbreaking changes, there are a couple of tweaks that will certainly help along the way. First in the list is ability to disable Opera Max icon in the notification drawer, next is a support for iPv6 as well as an option to view the app that has the highest savings rate.

Latest Opera 20 Developer Build Receives A New Installer
Now here’s an interesting way to prioritize web browser features.
Despite the fact that Opera still lacks some of the essential features, it looks like (some of the) guys behind it have decided to go the other way and work on a new installer instead.
Currently available for Windows users only, what it does is pull the latest available build from the Opera servers. Also, in case of a network failure or other connection related problems, the installer will keep on trying to download the most recent version.

No Linux version yet.
When build numbers mean very little these days, here comes the 20th version of Opera web browser and thankfully, it does bring some goodies, at least for the enthusiast market.
So what exactly has changed? First in the list is ability to drag tabs into the bookmarks bar, as well as improved drag and drop between Speed Dial and Bookmarks Bar. As far as other changes, you can expect some theme loading performance improvements and a bug fix that caused blurry scaled stash screenshots.
