There is an article in ComputerWorld.com called “Firefox 3.0 wins memory battle, says tester“. Sam Allen was testing Firefox, Internet Explorer (IE), Flock, Opera and Safari web browsers to see who wins in the memory management. “Test” is quite funny. There are no graphs at all and basically nothing… I guess this is what quality article is all about.
Time for yet another web browsers security article. So there’s a test called “Browser Security Test” which I found today and decided to run it on the latest stable web browsers releases. What about results?

Some time ago we’ve posted an article about web browsers security which is based on Secunia reports.

Some time ago Damien Virulhapan from GadgetZone.com.au sent me an email with the link to article called “Group Test: Firefox 3 vs IE 7 vs Safari 3.1“. Feel free to check it.
I don’t know why Opera wasn’t tested, haven’t got any reply since then.
It looks like Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) Beta 2 will be released within a couple of months, in the third quarter to be exact. As for now, Microsoft asks web site owners to make sure that their pages will be displayed correctly on IE 8. Check “Your Web site may not display correctly in Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1” article for more details about web pages compatibility.
After some strange results, for example: huge Internet Explorer gains and other web browsers drops in the market share, HitsLink made some changes. Yes, it’s time for the “fixed” 2008, April market share report.
After Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 release, IE increased its market share by 0.03% (from 74.80% to 74.83%) for a first time since October, 2007. Continue Reading
