IE team has just announced the launch of Internet Explorer 9 Beta that will take place in San Francisco on September 15th.

Internet Explorer 1
Back in August 16, 1995, Microsoft has released the very first version of Internet Explorer which was essentially just a reworked version of Mosaic web browser.
Did you know that there are over 30 ad block plugins and extensions for the top 5 web browsers?
Well, now you do.
AdBlockList.com (as the domain name suggests) is a web site that lists a ton of ad blockers for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari web browsers. Great resource, if you are interested in such tools.

It’s finally happening. IE team has just announced the launch of Internet Explorer 9 Beta that will take place in San Francisco on September 15th.
This appears to be one of the most anticipated product launches this year.
Furthermore, this could mark the new era of IE breed with faster and more frequent updates. Who knows, maybe by the time Windows 8 is released, we will already have Internet Explorer 10.

About the study
By using data from over 30 000 publishers that generated over 40 million banner impressions, Infolinks monitored Click Through Rate (CTR) and Cost Per Thousand (CPM) ratios to find out, which browser users tend to click/view ads more often.

In what appears to be the final platform preview of Internet Explorer 9, IE Team has highlighted a bunch of improvements that were made during the course of its development.
Back in February, 2010, the online petition was filled urging British government to dump a 9 year old web browser.
Recently, Her Majesty’s Government has issued an official response stating that they will continue using Internet Explorer 6 and have no plans to upgrade it.
What’s the main reason? They want to save taxpayers money.
