Official Yahoo! Response to Opera and Google Mobile Search Deal
Some time ago Opera and Google made a mobile search deal (read more about it here). Haavard from my.opera.com found Yahoo! response to this deal on news.yahoo.com

Google and Opera in Partnership (Mobile)
Google was and still is a default search engine in Opera web browser for about 7 years. Today Opera Software announced that since March 1, 2008, Google will be set as a default search engine in their mobile products as well, Opera Mini and Opera Mobile.

Google Toolbar for Opera
Google Toolbar for Opera? In case you would like to use Google Toolbar in your Opera web browser, I’d like to tell you that there isn’t any official one (and probably won’t ever be). However, there’s a solution and gabydewilde has something to offer. It’s a widget called “GoogleToolBar”. It’s not a real alternative to Google Toolbar, but author is working on new version (although the previous version was released on Jun 15, 2006) which will include better UI configuration, more publisher tools for blogger and more. Opera Renews Its Deal With Google
Google is default search engine integrated to the Opera desktop browser and will stay there for at least 2 years (that’s then this deal expires) or more.
That means profit for both, Google and Opera.
Google pays ~80% (77% in Q3) of each click value to its publishers. Not really sure about Opera, but that should be more than 80% I guess.

Google Browser, How Soon?
Seems Google wants to dominate everywhere and might join web browser wars someday.
There always been some rumors, but there is something going on for sure. Here are some facts:
Chris Silver Smith pointed that Google already registered GBrowser.com domain.
Ryan Naraine reported that Google hired a browser hacking guru.
They also have some deals with Firefox already and not so long time ago (April 2007) Michael Arrington wrote:
Maxthon Browser has sold a minority stake to Google. The total investment size is rumored to be around $1 million.
So… How soon and what can we expect from it?
