Camino 1.6 Released

The web browser for Mac OS X, built on Mozilla’s Gecko rendering engine, Camino 1.6 is now released. The new version now features automatic software updates, improved tabbed browsing, improved search toolbar, changed user interface and a bit more. Camino 1.6 Beta 4 Released

Camino 1.6 Beta 4Just a few days ago, Camino 1.6 Beta 3 was released. Why there’s Camino Beta 4 already? It seems that there were a few more bugs which caused often crashing. One of them appeared when user clicked SELECT and another one when opening Privacy preferences. This build fixes both of them.

Camino 1.5.5Camino, web browser for Mac OS X only got an update: 1.5.5. The following release fixes some well known bugs, for example: crashes, as well as add new features and various improvements.

    Camino Now Accepting Donations

    Camino Web BrowserCamino web browser development team recently announced that from now they will be accepting donations. And here’s the most interesting part of it:

    Through the end of the year the Mozilla Foundation will match 2 to 1 every dollar donated (up to $10,000). Donating now makes your dollar go three times as far as it normally would.

    What is Camino?

    Camino is an open-source web browser developed by an all-volunteer team. While most web browsers are funded through search revenues, Camino is supported by volunteer efforts, gifts of kindness from contributors, and donations from users.
