I don't want information being shown to me that I haven't actively asked for, it's clutters my view of things and makes my brain do the work of filtering out that my software should do for me. I understand some people may be used to the old behavior, and even though I think I'm biased because I NEVER even used the old location bar's auto-complete function, I think everyone's better off using the new awesome bar.
