The first OmniWeb 5.7 Beta version is now released. This build introduces various interface changes, for example: updated icons as well as fixed bugs and speed improvements. Please note that it’s not a final release, also OmniWeb is not a free web browser and works with Mac OS X only. Read more
Prism Update

Some time ago, Mozilla Labs released a new version of Prism. If you haven’t heard about it yet, Prism is an open source cross-platform prototype of functionality that lets users split web applications out of the browser and run them directly on the desktop. New Prism version now has new desktop integration capabilities and simpler installation. All you have to do now is download Prism add-on. Read more
Firefox 3 Beta 4 Released

It’s out and waiting for you to download. Firefox 3 Beta 4 includes various interface tweaks, such appearance modifications, as well as an ability to chose what you would like to zoom, whole page or just the text. Without dozens of other modifications, Firefox 3 Beta 4 is a significant faster and won’t consume so much of your memory after using it for a while. Read more

Flock 1.1 Released

The social web browser Flock 1.1 is now released. New version now has an integrated web mail client for Yahoo! and Gmail users (see screenshot below), friend activity and Picasa integration. Some time ago Percy Cabello wrote a nice article about one of the most important new “features” in the upcoming Firefox 3 Beta 4 release – performance.
They’ve doubled Firefox 3 Pre Beta 4 JavaScript performance (compared to Beta 3) and almost tripled (compared to Firefox 2). The following picture shows other web browsers results as well. Read more
