WordPress 2.3.3 Released

Not really a web browsers thing, but if you are using WordPress 2.3.x and haven’t yet upgraded to WordPress 2.3.3, you should do that now.

WordPress 2.3.3 is an urgent security release. A flaw was found in our XML-RPC implementation such that a specially crafted request would allow any valid user to edit posts of any other user on that blog.

Download WordPress 2.3.3.

Opera Software today announced that they will be demonstrating Opera Mobile 9.5 at Mobile World Congress 2008 (February 11-14, Barcelona). There is also a video called “Opera Mobile 9.5 Guided Tour” which tells more about new Opera Mobile 9.5 features and demonstrates them. 2008 January Browsers Market Share ResultsIt’s that time of the month again. We are ready to let you know about “2008 January Browsers Market Share Results”. You may check previous month results here). So how’s your favorite web browser doing? Let’s see that now.

Yet another market share decrease for Internet Explorer, from 76.04% to 75.47% (0.47% decrease).

After the previous 0.8% increase, this time Firefox managed to increase its market a share a bit less, from 16.80% to 16.98% (0.18% increase). Continue Reading

    Google Toolbar for Opera

    Opera GoogleToolbarGoogle Toolbar for Opera? In case you would like to use Google Toolbar in your Opera web browser, I’d like to tell you that there isn’t any official one (and probably won’t ever be). However, there’s a solution and gabydewilde has something to offer. It’s a widget called “GoogleToolBar”. It’s not a real alternative to Google Toolbar, but author is working on new version (although the previous version was released on Jun 15, 2006) which will include better UI configuration, more publisher tools for blogger and more.
