12 Best Firefox Add-ons Of 2012Recently, Mozilla has published a list of the top 12 Firefox extensions of 2012. Unlike the majority of such recommendations, the following post actually includes a couple of new and less known extensions. Mostly because it’s one add-on per month rather than the top 12 extensions by downloads. So, grab that mouse of yours and start clicking.

Here is a list of the more useful ones:

URL Fixer

A simple add-on that will autocorrect various typos in the address bar, such as: google.con, etc.

Do Not Track Plus

If a simple “DNT” setting is not good enough, here is something even better: an extension that tells you what sites tried to track you, what technologies they use and most importantly, an ability to block them.

Cheevos for Firefox

This is the opposite of a productivity tool. Ever dreamed about getting achievements for using Firefox? Now you can.

Tab Badge

Remember big blue dots from the earlier Opera builds? The ones that notify you about new Facebook messages and such? Here is an improved version for Firefox.

All-in-One Sidebar

As the name implies, it’s a sidebar for Firefox. Can’t get simpler than that.

Anything else? Let us know. And in case you are looking for more, check the original post.

what a retarded bunch of addons.. all of them seem completely useless

    If you’re from a non-English-speaking country, add this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/quick-translator/

    A proper inline translator.

Also, instead of Ad Block Plus, get the fork, Ad Block Edge. Cleaner code without “allow-ads-madness” and “typing-on-address-bar spoofing”.

Why use Firefox when you can use Google Chrome? Its more light weight and you dont have to worry about memory leaks. Plus chrome packs more features. Yeah, I dont understand how anyone is using Firefox today..

Use IE we call them fool, use Firefox we call them outdated, so Google Chrome is treadly. and we think it can kill other browser? no way, Google Chrome is very good but not the classic. People always like classic, sorry they are not really like. but they used to…

And it uses three times the memory of FF on the same 10 sites. Hell yeah!

“chrome packs more features” I don’t want to live on this planet anymore
